We almost forgot that today is National Welsh Rarebit Day, celebrating one of Wolfy’s favourite dishes! Now, if you do not know what Welsh Rarebit is, we must tell you first and foremost that it is not Welsh rabbit, even if it sounds a bit like that so no pretty bunny rabbits would be harmed in the process. As a matter of fact, Welsh rarebit does not contain meat, it is simply a type of cheese on toast that is truly scrumptious. Wolfy recommends it, along with a nice cuppa!
Would you like to know how to cook it? Well, Wolfy is a bit of a selfish little wolf when it comes to rarebit and he NEVER reveals his secret recipe. However, do not worry, as Visit Wales offers a most wonderful recipe for everyone to see. Click here for details and do not forget to ask a responsible adult, like Mum or Dad, for help when you cook! Happy Welsh rarebit eating!
